new update... how to get deuterium on

the planet i started on where i can't fly unless i can repair the launch thrusters that need deuterium.. i can't fly and get tritium to refine so what gives ? how to get ?

check caves... some stalactites and stalagmites give one or the other as a secondary...

Use silicate instead of tritium. It's buried in the hint system but apparently they added a new recipe for it.

Complete the "From the Ashes" milestone and you can install the Personal refiner Mk 2

Before you install a refiner and make a bunch of material you may not need, you may want to review what you actually need. To repair the launch thrusters you need dihydrogen jelly, which you get from mining dihydrogen crystals. Deuterium is used instantly in plants to give you a jetpack boost. Deuterium itself is collected from dismantling pulse engine upgrades. It is rare to find in the wild, though some rocks on some crystalline (hexagon) planets have them. Luckily, you only need it to repair the pulse engine upgrades if you don't have repair kits.

Cheers. For some reason I had not tried the Di-hydrogen/Silicate combo in the personal refiner.
