Cannot transfer companion eggs?

I'm unable to transfer the 4 companion eggs I got as rewards from the Expedition back to my regular save. Those are the only things I got in the expedition that I actually want to keep, why do they prevent that?

On the expedition save, they don't show up in the quicksilver vendor. All the other Expedition 12 rewards show up as "already claimed", so I'm assuming they're not something you can claim from that vendor, in any save.

I got mine from the quicksilver vendor after I returned to my main save. Look for the
Companion Eggs

If you go to 10:09 in the video it shows where to get the eggs after you complete the Omega Expedition.

AFAIK you can only claim phase rewards from the vendor. The eggs just come as milestone rewards, and as they're items which are consumed on use to add the creature to your companions log, there's no way of transferring those back to your main save.

The eggs claimed in that video are from previous expeditions, I have those. The ones I mean are, as Jimbo mentioned, just milestone rewards.
Maybe they're the same as old ones, but I was hoping they'd be different somehow. I have:
Metallic Hatchling unit, probably the same as Quad Egg.
Companion Egg (Hungering Worm), probably the same as Sandworm Egg.
Child of Helios is likely just the Helios egg, but I don't really care about it.
Bi-Bi ? no idea what that one is.

I am running the mission a second time right now and I'd be happy to give you the reward eggs as I've already gotten them from the first run.

I appreciate the offer Goldie, but I just made a backup of my save and then hatched the eggs. They appear to be the same as the previous expedition rewards. Except Bi-Bi. He looks like a Blob, which I don't think I have, but I'm not really interested in it.

Thank you! - someone posted here that you could claim the Exp 12 "optional" milestone eggs from the QS vendor... you (and others) have proven that incorrect.

So this expedition is working exactly the same as the other 11, where only PHASE rewards and the final reward are claimable form the QS vendor.

PS I too have eggs coming out my... whoops, let's not go there... I can also provide eggs to any game mode you'd like.

My apologies, I see what you mean now. Their is a Nexus mod for companion unlocking, last updated Feb 14, 2024 which may have the new companions you seek.

HI guys. I know this is an older thread, but after searching for answer all over Google, and asked on a new thread today, no results.

I hope someone can answer. And you dont mind me asking on this older thread.

When you get an egg as a milestone reward in expedition.
For me to have it when I end the expo, and collect from the quicksilver guy, should I hatch it while Im doing the expedition, or just leave it as an egg until its over, then collect it on the main save.
The expedition is running from my main save, not a new one.

I really appreciate an help, and feedback.
