or maybe they are planning to implement a tier higher than s class except for now that string remain in (upgradable for s rank)
uuuuhhh no. I have enough "fun" waiting hours for one S class to happen. a class above that would be like having to get 100,000 nanites or wait for that 0.00001% chance it may show up in teir 5 economies which are like super rare star systems out of one in thousands.
i mean i got my S class explorer (not reward from expedition) prior to Rendezvous 2 without deviate from the path.
Not exactly explaining how you got it. I usually get mine from parking around trading posts and reloading saves over and over. 2% chance is actually much worse than it sounds. And 50k in nanites is an unbelievable sum for a few % stat boosts. I'm all for getting these things an easier way if there is one. Just short of using a save editor. Ship dealers would be nice.
That would be cool in itself in some way, but tedious to pull off with the way the game is engineered.
LAWD RELOAD SAVE, play the game properly alright
ohhhhh a blackmarket starship will be cool
Oh you mean fly to some random port, wait hours or days for one to show up or hope RNG gives you the magic touch? I'm too busy making massive farms for units and grinding away for chump change nanites to hunt down high class ships. So I think I'm playing properly enough.
Hell yea!
I believe at the moment, 'S class' is as high as you can go with ships. When it comes to module types and the like, you can get stats exceeding 'S class' tier with black market 'suspicious modules.' They're a purple icon with an x-like banner. Though they roll a really wide range. They can have stats well above 'S class' tier all the way down to as low as 'C class' tier. As far as ships, you will still see a nanite upgrade option, but it should be grayed out. It would be interesting if they added further ship upgrades in the future though. Hope that helps.
all comes with standard fitted emergency hyperdrive XDD
Might need some sauce to go on that. Combat is a bit dry right now, it would need some significant changes and improvements to make it worth needed anything over S and more S. Heck you can beat most AI with just the C equipment alone. More power with nothing worthy to try it out on is not fun.
