Report a translation problem
It does matter, because it causes a noticable stuttering.
Once you've loaded into the game, pause and ALT+TAB out -> open task manager -> details tab -> right click NMS.exe -> Set Affinity -> uncheck all -> check the CPU0 box -> click Apply -> open Set Affinity again -> recheck all -> click Apply -> go back into the game.
Thanks, this seems to be working, now I have the same fps on the new stations as anywhere else. (Too bad that you have to do it every time you start the game.)
Yeah, it's pretty annoying. I got this from a reddit post. Just google "reddit yet another stutter fix". It should be the first one that pops up. The guy who posted it wrote a script to do it automatically when you launch the game. It is in the comment section.
It doesn't seem to be related to hardware power. I think all of the people I've seen having this issue are on the 12th gen intel cpu's or higher. It's like the game isn't talking to the cpu correctly on launch and you have to manually tell it to use all cores. No issues with other games.
