So.... how hard is it to get a phase beam...
I've been searching for a week now to get a fighter with the phase beam pre-installed so its at 100% eff. And I see lots of ships with that class B phase beam upgrade but they dont even have the phase beam lol.....

Install it yourself? You can buy the blueprint in the Anomaly.
What has the efficiency to do with being pre installed?

If you install it yourself it only does 50% of its base damage. If its pre-installed it does 100%.

That's not always the case. It seems to be random. On crashed ships that you can repair, the photon cannon is sometimes 50% but sometimes its 100%. During NEXT the photon cannon of a crashed ship was always 50%. One of the expansions after that they randomized it.
