Lip at top of interior cuboid stairs

Does anyone know how to get rid of the SUPER ANNOYING bug where you can't walk past the top of the stairs (I am only talking about "Structures/ Small/ Interior Stairs" not any other stairs) when placed inside a structure made of cuboid rooms? Seems like this has been around for years, and I was hoping they'd have fixed it by now...

I only experienced this problem when connecting the staircase with a corridor. Can you show a screenshot? Maybe there's some misalignment.

Here are a couple of examples of the many interior stairs I have in this base, all of which are doing the "lip" thing. Not misaligned as they all snapped into place. All of them attached to a cuboid room or cuboid floor, not a corridor, or a component from any of the other "structure" categories.

That issue has been around since the cuboid room stairs were introduced. You just got to get used to do a small jet pack jump over it. As with the sticky ladders, I doubt they will ever get around to fixing them.
