Best Expedition
I would give this latest one a rating of 10 out of 10 myself. I really enjoyed it and i am unsure why?
How would you rate it? and why?

I really liked it. Solid. It had no objectives that were very problematic (like 11's "find a planet with over 90% perfection rating") - where perfection rating is not shown anywhere except sometimes on the wonders page AFTER you've gone down to the planet. and perfection rating is totally nonsensical where swamp poison planets have 99% perfection... AND you have to set foot on the planet for it to register. Very time consuming and frustrating until someone spoils it.
the rewards were good, but I'd rather see longer and more well written, and involved, quest lines in the normal game with these kinds of rewards than have these expeditions.
i personally like them all, everyone is different i can say sean's team did great
I still would vote the Expedition with the big reveal of the Normandy as the best. The cat's kind of out of the bag on that one so not sure it would be as jaw dropping as it was when released.

I would give this Expedition a 10 for innovation. It was interesting to use an existing save and worked as advertised when I switched back to my regular save. The new ship was cool but for whatever reason, I just have not fallen in love with it. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice addition, just did not scratch any itch for me. I went right back to the Utopia Speeder after a quick around the block check out. Maybe it is the jet boat in space design.

The tasks were fun, and I actually enjoyed building a base. I would grade that one a 9 since it was not clear they wanted very specific things built so I got pretty far along and had to undo and install what was required. Not a deal breaker- but I grumbled a bit.

As with most of the Expeditions, I really appreciated the other player bases that made some of the more complicated tasks easier. Being able to turn off the sentinels at a Pillar base on the extreme sentinel planet was perfect. (Not a huge fan of the combat elements in the game)

Overall, it was probably in my top three of Expeditions I really enjoyed. Length felt just about right so I never felt rushed and even screwed around improving my base and freighter. I may have just been lucky, but never had any struggles with finishing any of the tasks.

They're very short. None of them have take longer than 20 hours.
But I did enjoy this one the most out of the few I've done. I wouldn't mind seeing more optional missions that reward quicksilver.
Best expedition was Beachhead. No contest. Grinding though the expedition without any spoilers and seeing the Normandy suddenly flying by at the end of it was truly awesome. No expedition has matched that moment yet.

Omega was maybe 6 out of 10. It was pretty meh and the reward at the end while cool still wasn't the Normandy.

Okay... I'll bite and there is 100% a CONTEST - the best expedition was the one that made 90% of the forum cry like the little bit-aches they are.... because waaa-waaa it was survival mode!

LEVIATHAN

no contest

LEVIATHAN
Was that the one where one of the milestones was to die and start over. Okay that was a good expedition but I still wouldn't rank it above beachhead
Yes and that's just your opinion....

Yes does my opinion bother you?
Personally, I enjoyed the very first expedition (Pioneers) the best. Most everyone got stuck on some objective because we had never experienced expeditions before. I particularly remember the objective to remain airborne for about 30 seconds? Who had ever tried to do that before in a normal game? But, I agree that Beachhead was pretty epic too!
id really like to do Belighted
I liked cartographer best and leviathan and polestar are tied for second. (I love resource management and rogue aspects, but the originality of a single planet and freighter base were great.) I rank Omega an 8. A nice steady pace, no extraordinary tedious tasks like find 16 new systems or pick up 50 poop, (surprisingly few comm ball spams), and some nice rewards.

I give it 6/10. It is a fun expedition, good showcase for the game and not too hard to do, just not very... narratively satisfying, many of the milestones felt like random tasks. Hopefully the next one will feel a bit more thematic.

I missed all the expeditions before the redux ones, unfortunately, but I did especially like Cartographers. Voyagers was really fun too!
