I would give this Expedition a 10 for innovation. It was interesting to use an existing save and worked as advertised when I switched back to my regular save. The new ship was cool but for whatever reason, I just have not fallen in love with it. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice addition, just did not scratch any itch for me. I went right back to the Utopia Speeder after a quick around the block check out. Maybe it is the jet boat in space design.
The tasks were fun, and I actually enjoyed building a base. I would grade that one a 9 since it was not clear they wanted very specific things built so I got pretty far along and had to undo and install what was required. Not a deal breaker- but I grumbled a bit.
As with most of the Expeditions, I really appreciated the other player bases that made some of the more complicated tasks easier. Being able to turn off the sentinels at a Pillar base on the extreme sentinel planet was perfect. (Not a huge fan of the combat elements in the game)
Overall, it was probably in my top three of Expeditions I really enjoyed. Length felt just about right so I never felt rushed and even screwed around improving my base and freighter. I may have just been lucky, but never had any struggles with finishing any of the tasks.
But I did enjoy this one the most out of the few I've done. I wouldn't mind seeing more optional missions that reward quicksilver.
Omega was maybe 6 out of 10. It was pretty meh and the reward at the end while cool still wasn't the Normandy.
no contest
I missed all the expeditions before the redux ones, unfortunately, but I did especially like Cartographers. Voyagers was really fun too!
