To get access to the Autophage quest you need to.......
Complete the Artemis storyline.
Have a settlement and finish the “A Trace of Metal” questline.
Go to a corrupted planet in a dissonant star system.
Finish the Main Story
Unlock a Harmonic Camp
the Trace of Metal Questline is not required anymore
This
Steps to initiate mission start:
+ You must finish "The Purge" mission.
+ You must locate a harmonic camp either by luck (possible), or by using an echo locator that is an uncommon drop from corrupt quadripeds.
+ You must activate the console in the harmonic camp and be awarded the backpack cosmetic unlock.
+ You must warp to a Korvax system.
Upon completion of these steps you will get a message on your ship that is the start of the quest.
The settlement quest is no longer (or possibly was ever) associated with this quest start.
No need to apologize! Thanks for the correction I will keep that in mind and thank you for verifying in the questline.
Noted!
This is great advice and much easier than killing those quadripeds.
