I doubt it will have the sustained desirability the Golden Vector had for several months after it was released. I took this picture because it was almost like a TV ad. 5 out of 6 players prefer the golden vector.

The floaty jets are pretty cool. I took a photo...

around 25% higher shields base value
much higher hyperspace range base value, similar to/slighty below an explorer type
damage potential base value similar to fighter, slightly lower then golden vector
maneuverability base value similar to fighter
slightly higher max storage compared to fighter 105/60 vs 100/60
-> imho best allround/combat starship

This machine is the most beautiful starship in the game.
It still lands with a loud, ka-chunky thud.
My dudes at HG: it doesn't land. It shouldn't make a thud. Please fix this.
There's one ship I like in the standard NMS collection but I never seem to own one. It's also got nice pipes, all over it, like a hotrod. Very long nose. I think I never end up getting one because all the ones I see have a vertical tail fin, which I cannot abide, blocking my view forward. And all the ones that don't have the vertical fin, they're like pink, or class C, or some other thing I don't want.
But this new ship is super fine, I think.
The solar ships look cool in-atmosphere. But then the sails come out and they don't look cool any more. Especially in first person, where the sails block 66% of your view.
Also a suggestion to tone down the alarmingly loud "Bombing of Dresden" sound effects when fleets enter from hyperspace. For my 73 year old dad, who wondered who was attacking me.
No idea if anyone at HG ever reads that board.
Fleets entering via hyperspace. Solar panels opening 50u away, sounding like they're inside my left ear. That sort of thing.
Why are people always trying to remove the emersion?
