the Expeditions phase 4 requirement bake some biccies ive completed 3 times now and each time it starts again telling me to find more wheat

You need one wheat that you put into the nutrient processor. You then need one sweetroot that you process. Combine those two together to make the dough, then add one more ingredient (another sweetroot works for this). That will make the biscuit that you need to complete the requirement. Make sure you take it out of the processor and put it in your inventory.

Yes, the mission blurb tells you to experiment by adding extra ingredients. A number of different items will do - I refine impulse beans into chocolate and make chocolate biscuits, personally. But just throw something else in and see what happens!

Quest thing should tell you to mix something for biscuts. I had spare sweetooth on me,

Just did this quest a few hours ago, (yays json edits!)

I stopped to after making biscuits and stared at screen... and then caught quest update to mix stuff with biscuts. After 9,99,999,999,999,999 telling me to check exo upgrade and blasted eggs ready to hatch constantly over righting quest log...

To complete the quest you must NOT make basic biscuits.
STEP 1:
sweetroot ---> refine to sugar
heptaploid wheat --> refine to flour

STEP 2:
Flour + Sugar ---> refine to dough

STEP 3:
Dough + (some other ingredient, like frost crystal, cactus, nip nip, etc...) --> some fancy biscuit

If you just refine the dough by itself you get basic biscuits and you fail the quest. You must add another ingredient.
