The old Living Ship had been there and was repaired by me. The glitch occurred after the ship had been rejuvenated.
After logging back in the Cracked Void Egg is in my inventory but none of the parts I used to repair the ship. There is no ship waiting anywhere. I made multiple hops back and forth through the portal but that didn't trigger anything. The quest doesn't appear in my Log. My Journal shows that I completed the quest chain but... nothing.
It looks like I am going to have to do Starbirth again if I want a Living Ship on this save.
that you have the egg in your inventory is a bug. if you have claimed the living ship it should be there. have you tried to call it via quickmenu or looked in your freighter ?
I've done this quest a few times before on other saves and this is the first time it has happened like this. I'm more disappointed than anything else because that was a week worth of playing down the drain not to mention the Quicksilver cost.
that's strange. but if you wanna check it to 100% you can use the save editor, load up this save and look under the ship tab if it's there. this is just a tip
