Great!
How were you "drawn" onto a landing spot? This is not descriptive, doesn't match anything I ever experienced.
Your description is a bit chaotic and it's hard to make any sense out of it.
Disable PvP? Disable Multiplayer??? Go to another system? Report and remove the offending base?
In NMS griefers usually prey on new people who are not familiar yet with the game mechanics yet. It's likely an issue here too. You're missing something.
Nobody can ban idiots from a game. This happens in many games.
Your inventory goes into a grave by default. Go find your grave and recover your stuff or change this in the diff settings so that you don't lose your inv when you die.
When I got there with my ship and landed, I got pulled to a landing spot as you sometimes do when ever theres a ship parking lot close.
When I exited my ship I was teleported to a cave I couldnt escape, and I was killed exmtremly fast by heat. When I died I restarted inside that very cave over and over.
So I force quit the game, loaded up the saved game....then I was back at the Nexus with a whiped out inventory. Everythings gone.
Also, seems to me that you lack adequate hazard protection so you should NOT try running missions yet, until you improve your hazard protection. Some Nexus Missions will send you to nasty planets.
Your inventory is not goen as I said in my previous post.
The entire experience felt glitchie and quite bizarre.
I tried to use the terrain manipulator the first time I got spawned there but it didn't do anything.
the 2nd time you die, your current inventory at that time becomes the current grave inventory... if the current grave is in the same spot as the 1st grave, it overwrites the 1st grave... death-loops like this are nasty and HG really should fix it to not overwrite the grave inventory each time you die in the same location...
So, worst case scenario, you have to farm a bunch of stuff up again?
yeah, pretty much...
Meh. And? No sense crying about it... the sooner you get started, the faster you'll be back where you were.
Remember to use the smallest setting on the terrain manipulator when mining out deposits, it can literally more than triple your yield. And learn how to use large refiners to multiply your materials; you can use oxygen and carbon to make absolutely ridiculous quantities of whatever, if you already have some whatever to get started.
See the wiki[nomanssky.fandom.com] or http://nms.swebsol.co.uk/ for more details.
This was the first time it ever happened to me.
The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ made some type of glitch so I went throught a teleporter when I landed with my ship. I ended up in a cave where my terain manipulator couldnt do ♥♥♥♥ and I died within 5-6 seconds. When respawning at very same space I died within 3-4 seconds.
Really annoying how people can do stuff like that, I mean....hours of mining and trading resources going to waste for what, a laugh? I mean, I can understand if he can pick up my lot....but I assume thats not the case. Just doing it for laughs.
People like that is filth, pure trash losers.
Don't let the jerkwad win; recover, and move on.
Supposedly, "event mission objectives" are restricted from setting down base to claim the area and also it's supposed to not allow anyone to edit the location.
What that player did was; claimed a base at the mission vendor location, just close enough to allow the "tractor beam" of the landing pad they built to overlap where most would attempt to land... placed a teleport on the landing pad in the exact location you land when exiting your ship... then, within the area of the "claimed base", dug a hole and sealed the entrance or, sealed in an existing cave and placed the receiver teleport inside it... set his base to "No Edit" so you cannot dig out.
*Funny thing is, you should be able to step back through the teleporter in the cave to escape back to your ship.
I am thinking he dug a hole for this instead of using "natural cave". He dug it just deep enough, that's how it still interacts with the external/surface heat-environment.
What you might be able to recover your resources/stuff... rerun the mission but when you need to visit the vendor, get close to the ground and land farther away on the surface, approach area by foot... if my guess is right "the cave" should be close to the surface, so you still "might" be able to recover your grave through the surface.
UNless... if "the stuff" you lost is easily come by, simply move on and don't suffer Fools.
P.s. Keep your mind tight... wishing death "IRL" on most anyone, especially on a video game forum, is a sign of extreme emotional weakness and reactions like that only feeds the Fools ego.
