Otherwise I'm going to have to find DPS upgrades and that's annoying.
It's just not as satisfying as when you completely outmanoeuvre your enemy and get to finish them off in a cinematic and fulfilling way.
I could try that again but I could have sworn that reinforcements came anyhow, I will try that again.

Ever thought of changing your difficulty settings?
saying that nms combat is weak is not referring to its difficulty but its gameplay. nms combat is like a pillow fight between a baby and its great great grandma. it's slow, the meager there is to do has dumb restrictions, it's pointless, and basically impactless both in feedback and game progression
