Unfortunatey they still haven't leant because they recently talked about the possibility of adding multiplayer in future. They're making the classic Molyneux error of talking about things which they know perfectly well they may never be able to deliver in an effort to try and please everyone.
They're a very small studio and they've nearly killed themselves working through the night just to try and get the game ready with what features it has. I only want them to do what they're capable of and not make promises they can't keep. So i'm ambivalent about the inclusion of proper multiplayer.
Yeah but did they die?
i dont agree, i think you're thinking of a completely different type of game experience, i just dont think this game is meant to be a multiplayer type experience.
running into another player is supposed to be a chance encounter, something noteworthy and interesting, like making contact with a new alien species.
