SentinelOne Stopping Me From Playing NMS
Hey all, I'm making this post now since I couldn't find anything online with someone relating to the problem I have now. In the past I have been able to play NMS, however, when I wanted to hop on it after the big update and a hiatus, I learned I couldn't get past the play button anymore. When I press play, it says seems as if I am going to play it, with it syncing and even getting to the "stop" part of the button, but then stops and goes back to the "play" section. After going to the Event Tab in Windows, this is what I've come across:

Faulting application name: NMS.exe, version: 45503.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x650328fa
Faulting module name: InProcessClient64.dll, version: 23.1.5.886, time stamp: 0x64ef0d3b
Exception code: 0xc0000409
Fault offset: 0x00000000001ac8f8
Faulting process id: 0x0x4D08
Faulting application start time: 0x0x1DA26DF1348D1BD
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries\NMS.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\SentinelOne\Sentinel Agent 23.1.5.886\InProcessClient64.dll
Report Id: 25891c48-a35b-4f54-ae8b-7a3a9ca5a247
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:

I understand SentinelOne is at fault, but I can't seem to get rid of the app itself. Is there a way around this? I would be beyond grateful for any advice that can help me resolve this issue.

Also, I did make a ticket to see if any technical support could help me a couple of days ago, but none have responded.

Thank you!

I tried following the instructions, but the problem is that I never installed SentinelOne on my computer in the first place. So, when it requires you to log in the management portal, sadly I can't since I don't know any of the emails or passwords.

It's there.
C:\Program Files\SentinelOne\Sentinel Agent

When I go there, and try to manually delete it, it states "You require permission from SentinelHelperService to make changes to this folder." When I click that .exe though, nothing pops up. And even when I scroll to the bottom of the folder, where the uniinstall.exe is, all it asks is to allow for it to make changes to the device then nothing.

Windows + R
Enter "CMD" and hold CTRL+SHIFT and hit enter.
You are now in an admin window
Now enter "cd c:\Program Files"
now enter "RMDIR SentinelOne /S /Q"
Close the window

I followed this and when I pressed enter, it told me access denied for each program.

Then the programm got itself more rights.
Google yourself into folder permissions to reset the folders rights. Only do this if this is your own computer and not a work pc that has a structured setup.

This is very tldr. don't do it too blindly, check what you are doing and if its that what you want.
