I've already completed voyagers and plan on starting it simply for this reason.
Turn on access to your refiners if you're going to upload your base. It doesn't let people take your stuff out, it merely allows them to use them at all. Like Ender chests in Minecraft, the stuff inside them is player-specific.
It's silly to visit someone's "mining base" or "mould farm" that has a row of a dozen refiners sitting there, and none of them are accessible.
100% agreed. Yeah, I saw your other post and added this to the OP. Thanks!
Rude??? It's rude to bully people like this. I have ZERO sympathy and understanding for griefers. They are total losers.
I have never experienced this issue; my wife and I play, both together and separately, and we have never been unable to use each others' refiners, even when one or the other of us is offline.
You can't edit a friend's base unless they're there, that I know, but this may be different.
This is a recent change and unless you alter the default setting, no one but you can access them.

But, it's OK, you don't have to agree. Let's agree to disagree.
