Extract it somewhere on your pc
run DisableNvidiaSignatureChecks.reg as admin (or at least use admin access level account to use this)
Rename extracted nvngx.dll to nvngx_dlss.dll
Drag and drop the DLLs to
(Game location)\Binaries
If you don't know where it is, use the steam library, right click on No Man's Sky, click properties, go to installed game tab, and click browse.
Done, launch the game and use DLSS instead of FSR. It should be running FSR3 instead of DLSS
I'm playing NMS in 4k ultra and DLSS with 60fps on an 'old' RTX 2080 Ti! Why change to FSR???
This is a trick that was supposed to make the game use the Frame GEN of amd on old NVidia cards.
30xx doesn't have the frame gen of dlss3
You will still use DLSS 2 upscaling, but using FSR3 Framegen. Nvidia 20xx-30xx are locked from framegen of 40xx have, but using this, it allow you to use FSR 3 framegen instead of DLSS FG that didn't support you.
Did you manage to make it work? because DLSS option....simply disappears when I try to install this on NMS
Yeah same boat
I have the same trouble now, have you solved it?
