Nintendo Switch PC Cross-Platform possible?
The game has changed a lot over the years and I just want to be absolutely sure before I ask my friend with a switch to buy this. Can we play together on PC and Switch?

According to Hello Games, No Man's Sky on the Nintendo Switch is limited to local multiplayer only. This means that you can only play with others on the same console and there is no support for cross-play or cross-save features.

I'd ask your friend to sell that underpowered Switch and buy a Steam Deck, then you can both play the PC version together and your friend and still play Switch games (SD emulates it fine!)

Thanks for the answer, I'll let my friend know one more time that they're not playing on hardware made for humans.
