Hello I am wondering why there is no way to check the stats the character has. I can see the stats of my ships, freighters etc. but my characters HP, etc. is not listed. How to check my shields, tanks etc. ?

Only HG knows for sure. I am guessing it is because unlike the other factors, you can never change your suit. What you have is what you have- no matter how good or bad it might be at some point in the game. The overall information is not very useful because you can't go get a better suit.

You can get a pretty good idea of the various functions by just looking at the addons you have installed in your suit. It probably also saved a lot of programming time and QA to NOT have to make sure the roll up numbers make sense.

As has been said, you have access to that stuff via other methods, but I have to agree, that I'd like to have a more conprehensive stat screen.

Well thats not the information I was looking for. Its only the HUD that's in the game not the real numbers that you have. HUD with bars instead of numbers has nothing to do with stats.

The rechargable shields etc. are only for dangerous planets and nothing of it tells you the exact amount of lifepoints, jetpack fuel capacity and much more. Not sure why it's so hard to understand what I mean.

With the H button you can show your HUD but its not what I was looking for.

The answer to your OP is that what you want doesn't exist. I checked nexusmods and didn't see anything there either.

That's really sad, I couldn't find anything myself. Not sure why the game has upgrades like that but you can not check the stats for it.
