How’s the intel-Mac version so far?

No joy on my 2020 iMac Core i7 3.8 GHz 8-Core / 32GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16GB... I'm getting 5fps on the lowest settings...

Wish i'd read discussions before picking up a key now. I'm another Intel Mac user that can't run the game as it lags and glitches so bad. Not all of us are on M1/M2 macs :(

It runs okay for a while on my 27" 2017 iMac 12,2... but there are a lot of problems with graphics, including corrupted Korvax face decals, multi-tool mineral extraction visuals glitches, terrain manipulator speed is WAY slower than the Windows version, and restoring terrain almost doesn't work, and then there's the LONG WHITE SCREEN after loading the game, and the way the game engine will just suddenly stop coping with rendering and require the game to be quit and restarted (which happens on Windows, too, but not as often). If I reboot to play other Windows games, I would probably play NMS there instead of in Mac OS until all these bugs (and more) are fixed.

I am actually surprised it runs as well as it does. The machine can clearly handle it, but the game engine needs serious optimizations and bug fixes.

Downloaded to my Macbook PRO. Started the game but ran slow with no smooth movement. quit, then got a glitch that it will not load at all from steam which shows update which will not load.

2020 MacBook Pro 13", 32gb ram, integrated graphics only. game runs really well on the bootcamp partition. can't get past the intro. Just a white screen. I heard mention of it coming to the App Store in the future. I'm hoping it will run on the appleTV. I can't afford another Mac for at least another year.

Total scam with us Intel Mac users: I bought it yesterday for 20 $. What a waste. It doesn't even start on my 16GB MacBook Pro 16" laten 2019

I'm using 2019 iMac 3.6 Ghz, 8-Core i9, 72GB Ram, Radeon Pro Vega 48, 8GB.

Sonoma is coming out in a day or two. It is more focussed on actual gaming and it is supposed to help more with keeping your game and peripherals priority. It looses my controller every 5 minutes and has a hard time with syncing for my other devices.

Unfortunately, it has some Macs left out in the cold. Good news.... They are trying to find a way to get more Macs compatible. So some may have to wait a bit longer.

I am having no other real problems in game besides above mentioned. I'm on the same monitor as my Windows but it looks way more vibrant on my Mac. I love that I don't have to do a walk around and system check just to start gaming like I have to do on my Alienware. I don't think gaming computers understand that we just want to turn it on and it function, not pilot the dang thing across the globe.

Same problem as others but with a twist - NMS doesn't run on iMac 2020 3.6Ghz 10-core Inter; i9 wit hRadeon Pro 5700XT 16GB and 48GB memory, but runs OK on MBP 2017 with Intel Core i7 and 16GB memory- doesn't;t make sense to me. From the discussion it seems there is something specific to iMac that is at play.
