Hyaline Brain Glitch

Every time I probe the brain, it takes me to a monolith but it doesn’t convert the brain. Instead I get the riddle option every time. Anyone know how to fix this?

Yes. I’ve restarted the mission repeatedly and every monolith it takes me to, does this.

Save and reload on location does fix many things?!?

It's doing it on mine too, and no, reload didn't help.

After the last update it happened to me too. But when I used this procedure on a previously found sentinel ship, it worked there. So I obtained the Hyaline Brain on a previously found ship, canceled the mission, activated it on a new ship and then used it on it.

Did that stop the glitch happening again?
And does anyone know if the duplicate bug still works? I might need a collection of ready made Harmonic brains!

Looks like this is a bug which is happening only in Korvax systems.

Me too. Everytime I probe the brain it only gives location to a monolith that does not pacify the brain. Tried three times with different planets. Same outcome. Tried cancelling and still the same.
Must be the last update that's broken it.

I fixed it by travelling to another dissonant system and using the Hyaline Brain there. It sent me to a new monolith and I was able to pick up the part and return to the crash site in the previous system and complete the repairs and the quest. Seems like a bug for sure.

Players with the issue, can you check to see if you are in a Korvax system? It may be coincidence or actually tied to Korvax systems. - thank you

My son's hijacked the PC for Minecraft so I can't look for certainty, but I'm pretty sure mine was Korvax.
Like 99% I'm sure I used a planetary archive on the same planet that was Korvax.

I had the same problem as described above. Successfully worked around it with the recommendations from this thread. Here's what I did:

I was experiencing the bug in a Korvax system. Loaded game at the ancient site the repair mission had led me to, which hadn't worked.

-Returned to crashed Sentinel ship
-Cancelled the repair mission in the log
-Interacted with crashed ship once more to get the repair mission once more
-Jumped to nearby Vy'keen system, landed on planet and activated hyaline brain, which highlighted a new ancient site
-The new ancient site it highlighted did in fact work for the mission
-Have a harmonic brain now
