Corrupted sentinals where are you?
Hi, so I've been looking for the new ships, but can't find corrupted sentinals. I found a planet with the label "corrupted sentinals" have flown around, set down in a dozen different spots, scanned from the ground, scanned from the sky, nothing. Is there some mission you have to activate first?

Scan for gravitino orbs, pick one up and the sentinels will find you.
You may well be in a very low conflict star system. Some sentinels (corrupted or not) in those systems will investigate suspicious activity if it's taking place under their gaze and can also take a long time to reach alert. But as soon as you stop mining or hide your activity, they lose interest and move away. Deliberately antagonising them by collecting gravitino balls, will inevitably get them mad at you. But even so, the alert levels can soon drop if you don't engage for any length of tme.

First: that label "corrupted sentinels" is no longer being used. It has been replaced with "Dissonance detected" (see example)

Second, when in the Galaxy map, look for systems label "Dissonant" (see example)

Your 'Enemy' difficulty setting can't be set too low or you won't see any corrupt sentinels, or perhaps even any sentinels at all. Try raising your difficulty level as well. You'll see more dissonant systems and everything.

Most EXCELLENT point - I always forget that not everyone plays on the hardest settings and now those settings can make a huge difference!

WOW - that does sound like it!

It will be interesting to see if your "Dissonance detected" planet has camps/ships <- that would certainly be amazing. You usually have to make one jump before jumping to a Dissonant system. (if you try on your first jump the dissonant system becomes non-dissonant, hmm that was before the 4.25 update... I better check to make sure that's still the case)

As others have mentioned, you may be in a low sentinel activity system.

But you don't have to get the pulse that way.
You can get the Usable items that produce it.
The Echo Locator - which sends you to a camp where you can trigger it at the terminal (found on Dissonant Resonators...
And Dreadnaught AI cores...
From Anomaly missions and from beating the Sentinel motherships.i

no, but a good one :p. I had a start a few years ago that had 6 planets/moons with all 6 standard biomes.

Once on the planet, all sentinels will be replaced with corrupted sentinels. Also, they have these new mining machines you'll want to hunt down and destroy. There will be a pack of the new sentinels guarding each of them.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestions. Now when I look in the planet description it does now say 'dissonance detected' (I could swear it said corrupted sentinals before) But only in the discoveries tab. When I look at it in the spaceship view it says nothing. I have conflict set to 'standard.' In the galactic map the system doesn't say anything about dissonance.

I built a base on the 'dissonance' planet. Could that be preventing it?

First, "conflict to standard" is only a visual setting and does not change anything about the systems. Second, if the system does not say DISSONANT in the Galaxy map, you will NOT find any ships or camps and most likely no corrupt sentinels.

>>> Jump to a new system that DOES list DISSONANT as the type of system.

Building a base will NOT affect anything... especially corrupt sentinels

Make sure you are in a dissonant system. There are planets that have Radiant Shards and Atlantideum without corrupted sentinels when you are in a normal system. Actual dissonant planets (with corrupted sentinels) are only found in dissonant systems.
