50,000 nanites the upgrades S starship or S multi-tool
I already have S starship and S multi-tool. I have necessary nanites. And on space stations, the line is active in the interfaces: "improvement starship/multi-tool (50.000 nanites)".
And the question, is this the bug (error)?
Or is it possible to increase the multi-tool/starship and its stats go up a little (will become such as S+ :), will be added one boosted cell?
Or will just write off 50000 nanites from me and nothing will happen?!

No, you will get an error message that your ship/multi-tool is already at the maximum class and the nanites will NOT be deducted.

You can test this yourself, easily, by saving a restore point right before you try it. That way if I'm lying you can just reload that restore point to get your nanites back. But, I promise you I am not lying.
I just tested this a few days ago when someone else asked the same question, to make sure the answer I gave was still accurate.
