Online issues (Solved)

Just bought the game and trying to connect with a friend. Neither he or i can get any further than the "joining"-message when you select their lobby. It seems to be a problem on my side, since he can still connect to others. I however can't connect to them either. I'm still in the tutorial, might the problem be caused by me not having finished it yet?

Solution: In my case the problem was simply solved by setting Windows Time in Services to Automatic (i had it on manual before). Now everything works.

Hi there AirRevenan I had been using ProcessLasso for ages when I had a different cpu/gfx card after up grading both I had stopped it from loading. Didn't realise that ProcessGovernor was still running in the background. Killed that process and Multiplayer Is back, as soon as I activated network mp shipe started to appear and loads of players running around. Repeated switching on and off and all is well.

Thanks so much mate fixed at last, nearly gave up.

My multiplayer stopped working again. I think I'm banned from multiplayer, what a shame

You did something to get banned or are you just not able to to go online?

People have been complaining about multiplayer issues since multiplayer was added. Most of the time it's user-end, either Win7 support issues or an improperly synced system clock. But there are always those that refuse to believe it's their end even in the face of the tons of players playing online at the time.

Im totally cool with it if its on my end in just want to get to work, but nothing seems to do it. I've been trying for more than a month to fix this.

Sadly I'm in your shoes now myself. Reinstalled the game again with the latest update but can't connect to friends, they can't connect to me, and the anomaly is a ghost town.

I tried restarting the game, verifying files, having my friend restart their game, restarted computer, added outbound and inbound for NMS, made sure clock was synced, and even tried making a new character and having a friend join on that.

Nothing has seemed to work so far.

Had same issues here. Eventually we managed to connect.

And had to disconnect because...

I've tried to get new a guardian's ship, but at some point it decided to fly off to another planet.

Had to fully disconnect from the friend to finish the task because the ship was teleporting to another planet every time.
