And that is the fastest way of getting cobalt. You can also buy small amount and use refiners to multiply cobalt with oxygen...
right now i have like 100k cobalt thanks for the help though
means you dont need to leave to find another system - just buy from the first 3 waves of NPCs arriving, that ought to add plenty cobalt on top of 3-4k half stach a terminal usually sells.
Find any cave, harvest all the rocks in the cave.
If you think, "I need some Cobalt right now! What do I do?" That's what you do.
You don't look for Cobalt veins. You don't look for Vortex Cubes with TerraCobalt to refine into Cobalt.
Unless I misunderstood the OP, if you want it fast, you go shoot rocks in any cave.
Or you buy it at a trade depot.
I would disagree to some extent. If the planet has votex cubes or relics then I think they can add up very quickly. I never bother with normal cobalt though, I just collect the ionized cobalt for building units.
I guess it all comes down to what the OP means.
Does OP mean, where can I get some Cobalt right quick?
Or does OP mean, what's the fastest way to amass a king's ransom of Cobalt?
I assumed the former, but I admit I could be wrong.
Hard telling... I like the relics because you just pick them up, put the tetracobalt in the refiner and in a couple seconds you have ionized cobalt. 5 relics = 750 ionized cobalt. If you have a medium refiner and some oxygen it compounds in a hurry.
I've played about 5000 hours in game and never needed much cobalt for anything.
