BUG: Atlas restarted - Heart of the Sun unable to supply

I restarted the Atlas Mission after finishing the Echoes Event.
On the first Atlas station i can get all seeds and it needs the Heart of the Sun.
If have it and it still says Heat of the Sun is required on the final console.
I deleted it and recreated it - still the same.

Is it your suit inventory and is the there a quest in the log and selected?

Try saving and reloading? I completed the Atlas mission a few hours ago with no problems.

@Nyrdin: Did you figure it out ? I am stuck here as well. I arrive at the Nexus platform, when I get to the pillars, I can see that the 9th (far right) column looks as though it already has a seed planted in the socket. The pillar is risen and the light is shooting out of it. So I start from the far left and work clockwise around, and when I socket the seed into the 8th pillar, the 9th pillar light goes out and the light shoots out where the seed is supposed to go & will not let me put a seed in it. The seeds are in my inventory and the Heart is also in my inventory. I have left the galaxy, returned, and the same recurring issue.

Enter a black hole, the quest should be removed from the log after that.

Ok, so I got back online. I warped thru 2 Black Holes, went back to the system that had the Atlas, now all 9 of the pillars excepted the seeds, but now the main terminal will not except the Heart, and I have it in my inventory.

Did the quest disappear after you went through a black hole the first time ?

I believe the bug occurs when you enter a system with an atlas station in it, and its quite unavoidable. So simply dont go to a system with an atlas station (don't come back), and if you have to or do it by accident, simply enter a black hole again to get rid of the quest log

I'm not sure you can or should complete it again with the heart of the sun.

Yea it went away, and then I went to a few other galaxies, and then after awhile I found another Atlas in another galaxy, and the same thing. All of the pillars worked fine, but the Heart would not slot in the console.

Do I even need to complete this ? I was trying to get the missions to get the parts for this newest staff multi-tool, and thought I had to complete the main missions before I could pick those quests up.
The game is amazing, but wish there was more detail in help along the way.

The three main missions I have are:
The Atlas Path
The Space Anomaly
New Beginnings

No you don't, it's just a bug that makes the mission appear in your log when you enter a system with an atlas station.

It will not harm anything in your save, just be annoying.
