need help getting an echo locator

Hey there, i've been trying to get an echo locator to get an interceptor, but it's glitched and i can't spawn the sentinel freighter to fight it, so anybody that can help me with that?

I've never done it by Sentinel starship. I do it on a dissonant planet, either fight 5 waves of corrupted sentinels on the ground, or stealthily destroy enough resonators to get a camp map, which can then give you virtually unlimited access to crash sites.

Or, you can also get Dreadnought AI fragments from Nexus mission rewards and Freighter frigate expeditions.

Easiest way is to use one of the fast wheeled exocraft with a decent laser. Snipe resonators from a distance and run away. 1 in N drop an echo locator and the exocraft is generally fast enough that 'run away' works.

Can confirm, I have been doing this a lot lately, though I use the Nomad lol.

any chance you guys know what i might be doing wrong?
Whenever i use coordinates i see on a video, and i want that specific interceptor, i do not get the same one upon arival?
i'm in the same universe and everything done everything right i double checked and i still don't get the same one that i want from coordinate exchange or from the youtube video.

Echoes update reset the seed on the Interceptors. All the ones I've checked on my pre-Echoes save have changed design.
So, if you are looking for anything more than 4 days old, it will be different now.

It's a bug, they are working on a patch that among other things fixes this, it's in the notes for the experimental branch.

There's one specific interceptor I want as well so I'm just waiting until the patch before even trying to get it.
