A little spread, but enough to supercharge some techs twice.
You can try to find them yourself, yes, but the spawn rates are very low, so it often helps to find one that someone else has already found for you.
I know Jason have plenty of them .. but the problem is that alot of them have changed after the last update.. so designs and sorts has changed..

I have gotten a few interceptors following months old coordinates and they were unchanged. The bug related to echoes was reportedly fixed
Cheers for that info mate
If you fulfill the other spawning requirements (3 hours play, 5 jumps) and make your end jump into an Outlaw system, there WILL be a freighter there ... but it WILL be embroiled in combat with a Pirate Dreadnaught and frigates. You'll have to kill the Dreadnaught before the freighter dies to have a shot at it.
In other systems, you might encounter a Pirate Dreadnaught battle, or you might encounter just the usual waves of attackers, but in an Outlaw system, it WILL be a Dreadnaught battle.
that was fixed already. it was a bug.
While I take my time searching for more, I come across something really nice today, and I thinking about sharing it to you. Also for owning you an apologies for my first flop.

I call this one Griffin, so feel free to hunt it down if you have the time. I left some Save point and a note so you could find it easily. I hope it will show up when you get there.
Why damage doesn't matter. Just get the one you think looks the coolest and upgrade it. Then the games sees that every ship you find after that will be S class:)
Not like nanites are hard to get in the game. Even if you don't exploit to get them. You'll end up with 200K+ not even trying.
