Oooooooooh, that's weird.... Guess it's new.. and both games had the idea or they just decided to copy Starfield. lol

On PC it's the forward slash '/' key.

There was a major NMS update today. Elite Dangerous had this feature many years ago, by the way. It's neither NMS nor Starfield "new idea".

I've watched Star Trek before dude, I know it's not new idea. lol
I'm just saying, it was a core feature of Starfield's fighting mechanics that they advertised, wasn't in the game yesterday at all, wasn't announced as part of the update, and Starfield comes out next week and obviously a lot of people are probably watching quite a few of those videos alongside this game's stuff.
I thought someone just got confused. I don't honestly see the point in HG adding this tiny mechanic in now, 7 years later, but hey I'll take anything they'll give me. :steamhappy:

It's a page taken from Elite Dangerous, something this game can really use more of.

No, please. Don't turn NMS into ED clone. That would be absolutely awful.

Yeah nothing to do with the fact that a huge budget and extremely highly anticipated game just happens to release next week that also had this as one of its core fighting mechanics... lol
Sure guys.... Totally just coincidence. *wink wink*

Elite Dangerous? Redirecting power was in Starlancer back in 2000.

I see your Starlancer and raise you an X-Wing in 1993.
Elite Dangerous has been around since 1986 I think.
