Stuck in Alone Amidst the Stars - Investigate the Space Anomaly

Hey, so I just recently got into the game and followed the main quest path up until I found the space anomaly. I want to get started on earning quicksilver to decorate my base, however it seems the Nexus is locked until you progress further in the story.

My current objective is "Investigate the space anomaly - Seek help in the search for Artemis. The lifeforms aboard the Space anomaly may be able to assist."

Problem is, I feel I've talked to every lifeform on the anomaly and exhausted their dialogue fully:

-Greeted Ariadne on the stairs
-Talked to Mercury about Portals
-Talked to fake Gek Tethys about Sentinels
-Talked to priest Nada and Polo until they just keep saying the same thing and all I can do is leave
-Helios will only allow me to talk about his past or leave
-Gemini and Hesperus will only greet me

Traders:
-Hyperion only has starship upgrades
-Selene only has exosuit upgrades
-Eos only has tool upgrades
-Perses only has exocraft updates
-Cronus wants food
-Ares wants data
-Quicksilver synthesis companion only has his shopfront

Is someone tucked away somewhere I haven't seen them? Or have I managed to softlock myself out of this quest somehow?

As far as I know you need to speak to Helios. If you have scanned something of the correct category (either minerals, plants, animals or planets) you should get the option to give him the data in exchange for nanites. If the planet category is required, scan new planets manually (and land on them). Freighter scans apparently don't count.

Oh, it worked itself out. Instead of following "Alone amidst the stars", I had to track the quest "The Space Anomaly".

After buying some base blueprints at the construction research station between Hyperion and Selene, the Objective changed to "Talk to Nada about Artemis".

I'll just leave this up in case anyone else runs into this problem. Thanks for the response anyways.

as long as you have the correct mission active a mission icon is shown above the npcs or terminals you need to interact with ...and the hints (bottom right main screen) are there to help too
