Interceptor in space [SPOILER]

I'm going through my saves to add an interceptor to each fleet and was presented with this pulse encounter:

At first I thought the comms was from a system trader. My response started a mini mission which was simply a shortcut to a crash site.

Oh I usually ignore the pulse encounters unless it says it is a rare object in the box on the lower right, because they are otherwise just the system traders. Do you recall if this was labelled as a rare one or if it did indeed appear exactly like those trader ones?

I don't recall the pulse label, but for some reason the encounter made me expect a trader instead of weird anomaly.

This is the encounter that unlocks the short sentinel questline and teaches you to reach sentinel planets.

When the update first dropped I kept getting that same encounter every time I used an anomaly detector so I was kinda forced to do it.
