found a creature (tentacle beast) but cant seem to tame it

I found a creature that I would like to tame (just because its cool and would like to have around) but i cant tame it at all, I can throw pellets and "heal" it but no tame it via interact icon.

Have you tried a save and reload restore point to see if that clears it up? There shouldn't be any reason you can't tame it. Maybe disabling multiplayer also.

The tentacle critters (where you never really see the body)just tentacles moving about in the dirt, can't be tamed. There are several critters in the game that have that quality. I am actually surprised they will accept food...do they poop anything?

Hazardous plants have tentacles, but they are plants, can't be tamed even though their tentacles look animal like. You can find them in abandoned buildings as well as on the landscape.

there are tentacle creatures on planets, but as far as I know, you can't tame them or otherwise interact with them. Similar to flying creatures

Veryy hard to kill and well so my advise is that you don't shoot it out of sheer aggravation either.

if you are talking about the eye-on-stalk- critters that pop up looking around, they are like the little squirrel critter that does similar... they cannot be tamed but they can be scanned...

its the testicle creatures that that only have arms sprouting above ground, I read up on them and they cant be tamed but eat food you drop and heal. I have a screenshot but no idea how to post it, its just arms above the ground.
