Is there a way to skip the Artemis mission?
I mean can i opt to remove this quest from my log somehow or something along those lines? Or is there realy no way out of it?

why would you? and why does it bother you? it isn't splattered on the main screen. its tucked near the top of the endless scrolling quest log.

i mean its a good questline. it gets you all the glyphs for portal use. finishing it gets you quick access to another galaxy, good for the survival and permadeath achievement.

i find it tedious, i prefer to find things on my own, i would very much like to find everything in an organic manner without the quests dictating a path. Agreed if you like to follow storylines its great, but for some of us who like to explore and find things the hard way, it takes away that freedom of challenge

just my opinion, im a drifter at heart

You can always ignore it, however that quest is supposedly the way to organically discovery things, the other is just going to the anomaly and buy everything, which isn't very organic at all.

No way out of it. It will harass you until the end of time. Even if you finish it, it will come back. The only thing you can do is select another mission. The exploration mission where you scan fauna/plants seems to be the least intrusive. This will shut it up temporarily... until you do something in-game that triggers it again.

There might be a mod for that.

HG sure loves their nagging, hand-holding reminders and mandatory quests that I have no interest in on my N'th playthrough. This mod is your best bet:

It does remove the reminder panel from UI (make sure you download the right file). But for me it also prevented mini-missions from guilds and bounty master from starting up properly. Like they didn't even appear in the mission list.

Because... Some of us have done that quest line over and over again when starting on different platforms.

Some of us want to get to the content locked behind it.

That's why some of us want to know.

It's not something that takes a lot of brain power to recognise as a scenario or consider the issue/discomfort it could cause.

It's also not a short quest and is very basic in content, a lot of "go from A to Z" questing and nothing more.
___

So what was the point of that response?

Was it thought out at all.

Did it feel like mature or self aware adult would respond like that? Did it feel good to treat them like that, did any of it feel good?

Yeah exactly.
A person came asking for help, not for a sh!tty experience of being raged at.

Just Chill.

I agree. There should be an option to starting over just adventuring - without any "story lines" and "missions" whatsoever. And without "exploration guides". I'm playing since release and I know how to interact with things ...

Just do the mission.

I would like an option to opt out. I don't like what happens during the quest line and would prefer to just not deal with Artemis altogether.

I tend to just ignore the whole quest line and do my own thing.
