I keep getting kicked out of my friends freighter

Every time I am on my friends freighter and he warps I get kicked out of it and spawned in my ship where it was. He successfully warps to the system without issue and the same happens when he goes on my freighter. We both have Star Destroyers if that helps.

are you on his bridge standing at the center console when your friend warps his freighter?

Several people who play multiplayer often in the game are reporting the same issue. There have been multiple threads here and on reddit since the Fractal update who have reported the same issue.

I can confirm that this is happening as the OP described. I tested this with a friend. It happened both ways (him in my freighter, then me in his freighter). In each case, we were both on the bridge just before warping out.

Being on the bridge still kicks you out sadly. Its been broke for a while.

I can confirm, even with experimental, you can no longer warp together on a freighter regaredless of where the second player stands in the freighter.
Been like this since Fractal.
