now with the update with those pink mats, are bit more faster. as i see.
missions fro space stations help
all those green-brown-purple slimes too via refining.
pugnem
tainted metal from derelict freighters
and from terminals of abandoned buildings, in me are buged (and some other players too) and give constantly 120-160 nanintes every 15 secs.
But again... Am I Understanding this Correctly?
I just got about 30k in a few minutes, but used the refiner glitch to turn 10 mirrors into about 200 then put them in my refiners on my freighter. Loaded up about 8 refiners and by the time you do that, the first is ready to be empty and reloaded. A lot faster than refining the mold I used to mine.
Dude if you want to cheat just do it, use the NMS editor and give yourself whatever you want.
No dedicated farm required... and while it does cost units, it doesn't cost that many, and units are very, very easy to acquire... especially now that sentinel ships can be salvaged and sold for a ton.
I am so cheesed off. I didn't think of this. Like, I just literally had come across 2 different little box canyons yesterday, one with THREE and one with FOUR of the big'un curious deposits on the hills above it. Like, you could literally stand on a single story roof, plink them all and they would all roll into the same little area....
AND I DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS. This is what I get for forgetting all the stuff I learned last time I was playing years ago.
Yes there is a good reason to have two guns, one for just exploring and mining and the second for fighting. The superslots are great but at S class there are only four and having the right setup and placement of them is important. All guns are not created equally in that department. The new sentinel guns are pretty good and basically free-ish depending on what level you luck out on. Even though there are limited modules, they are quite strong now, way better than before the changes without mods or cheats.
There are lots of vids out there, many quite current because of all the recent changes. Watch a few of them and you will be amazed at how much you can improve your damage and resource, unit gathering. Xaine is good as are a couple of others, Captain Whose Name I can't remember, Brit fellow. Some are a little too cheezy in how they get their results but they explain how it all works. Min/maxing in this game isn't that important but it never hurts to be a bit OP.
But the same goes for scrapping ships at the Space stations as well.
I would say the hole economic system in this game is broken, missions are boring and unbalanced for what you get rewarded.
And intermittently broken lol.
If you could chose the reward on a mission, and higher the reward the, harder it will be to accomplish that mission. At least then you could have been some fun to it.
Side missions at space stations are also kind of meaningless, and clunky.
Atm I am playing this game while waiting for something newer and fresher, maybe like Starfield etc.
I have two bases by curiosity deposits, they regenerate any time you warp out and back. I can warp between these two bases and fill several stacks in about 10 minutes. The refining takes time though. I have glitch build a group of 30 refiners, although tedious to do, I can refine several stack of mould in about 15 minutes.
I think that HG has made the game so the economy is not a big factor. Units are easy to get and cap is low. I actually prefer that, coming from MMOs that turn playtime into monetary drudgery time. Same with dailies, so happy not to feel that pressure.
I know, get a life. Maybe on the next iteration.
You don't need to use a mod like the saveeditor anymore. (though useful for fixing bugs),
Simply change the purposely designed in-game Difficulty Settings, under Options. You can purchase ship and suit inventory slots and upgrade ship classes totally without cost. Make anything free (except acquiring Quicksilver)
If that's how you want to play. Then you can spend more time having fun playing and exploring and earning quicksilver (without modding it) instead of grinding. More time to (grind) Quicksilver and play on derelicts and anything else. You can use your time more efficiently, discovering more ships and designs to find the ones you do want. More time to build, make music, rampage across sentinel worlds and discover weird and wonderful planets, creatures and things. More time to discover all the creatures on a world and upload them for 2000-3000+ nanites per planet (if you find nanites useful) More time to find upgrade tech and improve kit. More time to discover more ships and more and more. It never ends. And difficulty settings let you play however you like.
You might consider Normal Mode and adjust things to make purchases free and everything hostile. The game is a lot of fun in a group too doing exactly what you want.
Play (or grind) in anyway you like but make it fun and not a chore with difficulty settings. Kinda cool. More time to search for the great new sentinel ship designs and travel the galaxies hopping from planet to planet. Collecting upgrade tech or buying stuff from pirate stations you visit and hey sell stuff for more nanites on the way. : )
It's really about how you want to spend your time in game if you have limited time to play. Make your time work for you and have fun without the grind and simply play the game. There is so much to do in the game.
