Teleport from freighter to outlaw station??
Why can I teleport to an outlaw station from a planetary base teleporter but not the teleporter one on my freighter?

I am not real clear on the teleport rules with outlaw systems, but my basic understanding is that any teleporter has to be within an outlaw system to teleport to another. I usually just build a base in the outlaw system and do the hip hop when I need to get to the station.

I think it is a "feature" but it is a little annoying...but I guess without it the whole stack of cards comes tumbling down. The pirate feature is pretty weak, but it is essentially a casual game.

You can actually teleport to an outlaw station from any base teleporter you build in any system. Just not the one you build on your freighter. It doesn't make sense to me.

Freighter teleports use the same rules as station teleports, and a station teleport can't cross outlaw/normal system type. So from a freighter in an outlaw system, you should be able to teleport to any outlaw station in your list, but not normal stations, while from a freighter in a normal system, you can go to other normal systems, but not outlaw systems (and now that you can finally teleport to the freighter, the reverse should be true as well - if you parked in a normal system, you can get there from other normal systems, but not outlaw systems, and vice versa).

It is only an inconvenience, since planetside bases are always valid destinations, so you just need one planetside base somewhere (which you probably want anyway as a spot to park your permanent exocraft bays), and if you cant do a direct station to station port, you port first to the planetside base, then to the station you want to visit.

cos some players complained about the teleporters making piracy to easy so HG put in a hotfix to make it this 'cpmpromised' scenario Lol

How the heck do you remove the restrictions on an outlaw station portal so that you can use them?

You don't; you go around them by using planetary bases.

Teleport from outlaw station to planetary base outside of system, then to "regular" station from there, or vice versa.
