Dreadnaught AI Fragment, from Frigate expedition reward

Collecting my frigate expedition rewards this morning and I received 2 Dreadnaught AI Fragments .

Just letting folks know that expeditions are another option for getting those. I know there's a pretty large portion of the player base that wants non-combat ways to earn the new things, so for those, that's one way to get 'em.

Edit to add: I should mention, for people who haven't done much of the new content, what the Dreadnaught AI Fragements even are. They are the item that you can use from your inventory that points you to an Interceptor Crash site.

ok... so we have to fight a Sentinel Dreadnought and destroy it to get a Sentinel Starship for ourselves? am i understanding that correctly?

That's the other way to get them. I wasn't aware that you could get them, without fighting, from expeditions.

A third option is: You can just unlock the terminal at a Harmonic Camp (revealed with Echo locators). That terminal has an option to reveal a crash site as well, bypassing the Dreadnaught AI fragment entirely.

So there's at least 3 ways to find the interceptor crash sites.

aaaahhhh... right... i forgot about the Harmonic Camps... granted i've only seen one of the videos on how to do this one time a day or two ago...

also, just to clarify... when you say "expeditions" are you talking about Nexus Missions from the Anomaly or Frigate Expeditions from your Freighter? i tend to think of "Expeditions" as being what HG releases four times a year...

Frigate expeditions. THe ones you send out from your freighter bridge.

I'm going to edit the OP to make that clear. I edit 99% of my posts in Steam to try to make things more clear. LOL, sorry I didn't catch the lack of clarity originally.

i just landed in a purple sentinel planet and start killing sentinels and after all waves end i found a crash site, didnt kill any freighter nor get my frigates expeditions yet.
so are 3 ways to get a ceptor crash site.

all new things i got are
atlantideum
radiant shard
inverted mirror
and echo locator that i just find out its reason with the help of jaggied Edje

Just to summarize, for "detector" drops we now have:

• Nexus Missions (fragment)
  
• Frigate Expeditions (fragment)
  
• Sentinel Freighters (fragment)
  
• Corrupted Sentinels (land and space, scanner)
  
• Dissonance Resonators (scanner)

And for ship scanning, we have:

• Dreadnaught AI Fragment
  
• Harmonic Camp Computer
  
• Killing Corrupted Sentinels at 5* until scan occurs

I wonder if distress signal maps work as well.

I haven't looked at the file for the maps, but they are NOT in the table for vehicle scans (Minotaur distress signal scan).
