Alone Amidst the Stars bug?
Hi,

I'm stucked with a mission - actually two.
1. Alone Amidst the Stars
2. The Space Anomaly

So I had a dog fight with a few sentinels in space when the anomaly spawned nearby, so I didn't actually call for it.

The first mission (1) said "Search for clues about Artemis".
The second mission (2) had 2 objectives at that time: "Board the space Anomaly" and "Explore the Space Anomaly"

Then I boarded the ship, went around the shops, bought some garbage, talked to everyone (4 dude in research area, 1 in teleport room, 1 on balcony next to tp room, 2 named dudes - nada, polo, one dude at the ramp next to ship landing area, 1 quicksilver dude in reception, some planet explorer guy and other shopkeepers, ect), pressed everything possible.

Then I left the station - since nothing happened - then spawned the station to the starter system after teleporting back and doing some stuff there. When I called for the anomaly the first mission (1) got the second objective: "Investigate the Space Anomaly". So I landed again, talked with all those dummy aliens again and nothing.

So what I would like to know is what's the trigger to progress or if its really bugged, then is there a developer console and a command I can use to bypass the bug?

I checked, it didn't show up at first, but I had to explore a new planet first, then I had new discovery data to be able to trigger the npc at the stand, then the quest continued properly.

thanks for the help

Ah can you maybe explain for the others that have the issue exactly how you fixed it? Explore a new planet? do you mean the exploration quest where you visit the planets? maybe doing that quest fixed it?

I can't do this or take a fcken photo for a photo survey quest, game is so broken

Sorry man, I don't remember what was it. From my comment I would guess that I couldn't select the mission as it was suggested cuz I was in a too early stage in the game, then I went to a different planet, collected some new discovery data - whatever it means, cuz didn't play for a year now(mb its when u scan the creatures/lifeforms) - and that might have been a mb hidden flag(?) that then lets u communicate with the npc at a stand - I guess it was a planetary base with a marker on the npc?

For me that quest always resolves itself within a few minutes of going off to do something else.
Like leaving the solar system and going back to my base etc.
