had a few worlds like that kept farming the first one for a while then moved on.
For the echo locators... Its more random.... was on a game earlier and couldn't get one to drop... But, I'd gotten one a day or two ago...
Still have no idea how to work through the lockdown issue on those camps...
You are probably having the same problem as me, where you aren't noticing that there are 3 white squares you can click on to input the glyphs. The white squares are so faint, and the background so bright, I didn't see that they were there at first.
I spent a ton of time trying to 'fix' my game. Did Steam repair files, removed all mods, etc. etc. Then noticed the squares and was like....doh!
Here's two screenshots showing it, the first where I have my mouse over one of the white squares. Clicking it brings up the glyph input screen. The squares are a lot more visible in the screenshot than they are in-game (at least for me they are).

And here's a screenshot with all three glyphs already input, so you can see where the squares are.

Took me a bit to figure it out on accident - by using one of the "Dreadnaught AI" scanners I had in inventory - it told me it was detected in another system.
So, if you are on a planet with no buildings (one of the rare exotic planets for example), then no amount of defeating the sentinels will auto-scan for one of the encampments because there are none.
I've found it's good to get a few of the Echo Locators and Dreadnaught AI scanners built up and just use on of those upon entering a system. That way you're sure to either get a marker, or a notification to re-open the galaxy map and go to the marked system.
I can't for sure say whether or not this is a bug, however there is one difference between my first fail and second success. I built my mini base right next to an Archive, and that's where my first try failed. Second try after reloading I moved just a short ways away, and success. Not sure but could be a possibility, though this gives me the nagging idea that this has already been mentioned... been sick this week so brain fog... :(
So when you see all the little stats for the “Dissonant” system, if any of the info or stats say 'no data' or 'missing data', when you go to the corrupted planet, after clearing five waves of corrupt sentinels, you get the message 'nothing found' instead of receiving a crashed ship location.
Took me some time to figure this out, after I caught on, every time I cleared the five waves I got a crashed ship location for a sentinel ship every time, so please be warned. It will say either missing data or no data, cant remember which one.
You can also get the echo locator even quicker on corrupted planets that are lifeless, dead, airless, etc. and at night. The sentinels are easier to find that way, then take the echo locator to a planet with life on it.
