Starbirth quest

Hey,

im new and im doing the starbirth quest. After i have the third part something stranged happend: I couldnt find the next questplanet. So i did maybe something stupid: I destroyed the egg and the 3 parts i had and buy a new egg. But i cant do anything now. The parts are rebuilding in my inventory everytime but the egg isnt cracked anymore. and i still ahve the bug that my questplanet in the galaxymap isnt showed up. so what should i do? start a new world or can i solve this? i found a good planet and i dont want to loose my base:D

The egg changes each step of the mission, so destroying it and buying a new one is just a great way to break your progress entirely.

Hopefully you backed up your save before you did it so that you can roll back to that save.

or can i start the starbirth quest new? but if i destroy the parts, heart etc, the come back. what can i do? its okay for me tos tart the quest new but i cant restart it:D

i found the mod nomnom. could i use it so i can get my egg back?

Yes, I believe modding in the parts you deleted should allow you to continue progressing with the original Starbirth mission.

This isn't the first topic like this... they should put some sort of warning on that egg & its parts, or else make it indestructible.

ok i will give it a try later. sorry im new and do stupid things:D i found my savefiles but i couldnt go back to the time i had the cracked egg...

After 4 Hours trying i finally fixed it and i can keep doing my quest.^^ fun fact: black hole resets the quest so the marks showed up again:)

It wasn't the black hole specifically, it was just that you got far enough away from the original location. A galaxy jump, or traveling really, really far with multiple hyperjumps would have achieved the same result.
Pretty much works for most all of the story quests when you need to reset them.

ah ok i understand. well but now i can move forward with my quest and that makes me happy:) also i found an 99,5% perfect planet :D

sadly i need some strange portal now. but at least the quest is fixed. be back in space. see ya:)

You have to buy a void egg, from the Quicksilver vendor, with Quicksilver. Then you use your pulse drive, with the void egg in your inventory, and you will have a special space encounter that begins the Starbirth mission.

But you need 5 day, in real time, for that. but there is a trick how you can speed up it:)
