Stellar Classes?

Can someone explain to me how stellar classes work, those are the letters and numbers located near the distance and if the system has water or dissonance? What do these numbers and letters mean? Thanks for the help

The devs "copied" IRL spectral classes to make the star classifications in game seem more scientific. In game the only thing that really matters is the letter and the letter tells you which type of stellar metal that star system contains.
