Are all other items, other than the batteries powered? I'm guessing yes due to the 857kp used. If so try connecting multiple wires to a battery from different powered lines. I had to do this and ended up with a working power line cutting right across a room. Looked awful but it worked.
Try deleting your wires from the nearest battery to your base and redoing them.
Nah , no items are powered lmao
Already said I replaced solar panels, batteries and wires -
They're next to eachother so...
20 + batteries are all deciding not to connect to the base - even after being rebuilt
----------------------------------
Worse yet
I thought reloading the area might do something
So I flew to my Capital Ship and came back
Half of my base has deleted itself , not 'Rooms' but other things
decorations etc
including a load of solar panels and batteries
So, that's fun ,,,
still 857kp used - I built more panels , that's up to 3k generated now, still no storage happening XD...
This sounds like a v nasty bug, and one I have not come across (thankfully). Complex bases used to take ages to load, but I think that was improved(?). Can you post some screenshots?
I have seen posts on other web sites about missing base parts in the past, eg https://forums.atlas-65.com/t/vanishing-base-parts/7056 so you could have a bugged save.
Two suggestions, which you may have already tried.
At your problem base; take one solar panel, one floor piece and one battery. Put the floor down, the solar panel and the battery on it and connect them. Does the battery charge?
Go somewhere else build a new base computer and repeat the above. Again does the battery charge?
I never even heard of auto-power before you mentioned it
No - I've never used auto power , isn't that a 'creative' thing?
Yeah , ofc I did the solar panel floor battery placement -
and depending on where it was , it worked yeah - just not inside my actual base ^^
But, after everything disappearing , for a while I was going around 'fixing' walls, missing windows , all sorts of stuff
Then 'some' stuff reappeared , some windows reappeared - had to re-delete windows and replace them again , solar panels and batteries remained gone (not a big deal to make more)
All sorts of very wonky bugs
I built a lot more panels and batteries in various places - just to see if any worked
, and eventually, I got power to my base...
Then the 'used amount' of power increased from the value that was initially displayed
So I'm assuming that power drain values had been changed on many objects at some point - and I needed to go over that cap in order for it to properly display
example - I said it was 875kP , - after building 20+ solar panels , that number went up to 4k ish
Jank XD
It's by far the worst case of this kind of thing I've seen
Multiplayer gets this kind of thing, where the other person can't see changes you make to your base for a while , you'll walk through a door where all they see is a wall etc
The power value incorrectly displaying is new
The 'save' is okay , it's just that base being an issue, Do I dare go to other bases I have...
Might just be time to find a new planet and live humbly...
