Mining Tool question

Hi guys, I just found this class A weapon and something occurred to me.... How do I figure out which is the best multitool with mining beam? This weapon I have does a lot of damage because it has the tampered mining beam plus it has 3 supercharged slots and all slots unlocked. I don't know if I was very lucky or if it's common

Ive only got two Sup slots together so with s class and or black market upgrades mine in a single very quick squeeze of a trigger. Cant imagine it get faster than that as it doesn't need to be.
Oh i have s class multitools (native s , not upgraded to ).

- You remove everything you can (not destroy!) to your inventory.
- You should be left with one or two slots where you can't move them outside the tool.
- Now you make sure you do not have that last object in a supercharged slot.
- Now you can see 1. the tooltip of the beam/laser and 2. a potential damage value in the top right
- Do this with two tools and you can compare the base stats.

About the tool you found, try to add a laser and some S-rated upgrades.
I found something like that too, not as good as yours but still pretty good.
Now I use only the laser for fights because it does incredible damage. Walkers are not a problem any longer. But that was only after I found a tool which already had a beam and allowed to install a normal mining laser. Then use the supercharged slots and good modules and ... WOOO! :-)

i got an S-Class rifle at one of the Exp11 space stations... i moved everything i had in the little pistol we started with over to the rifle...

I am not sure this is true or how you can see it in the data or if it was just true in the past, but I read somewhere that pistols above C grade have an integrated bonus to mining and rifles above C grade have an integrated bonus to weapon damage.

Like I said, I just read it, I don't know if it true. If some guys (or girls) could confirm this or tell us that is probably not true I'd be thankful.

But because I don't know if it is true I am happy that my weapon with the integrated non-standard-laser is a pistol, because I value mining more than killing. The side effect of my mining tool being superior in killing is kind of funny :-)
