If you think that takes time, back when I started playing during Beyond, you couldn't change the color. You had to farm Class AND color. Sometimes this took all weekend.
Home Seed: 0x1 (zero, x, 1)
Model Seed: 0x3D576085108C107B (4 zeros not O's)
These are the seeds from my personal Capital S-Class Full size Venator, enjoy :o)
So if I get it right, if I warp in the system and see 2-midsections Venator, then all Venators in this system will also be 2-midsection? And I want 6-midsection - biggest one, so I leave this system and search elsewhere.
Can it also be viable method to include 2 and 1-star economies? 1% spawn chance is bad, yes, but on average its only 100 pulses, so its like 2 hours only?
As for the Save Editor, I didn't use the Editor for the first 1,200 - 1,300 hours of my play time. After using it, I can legitimately say it ruined the experience for me.
Also I noticed 'sentinel' Battleship type spawns in Pirate Drednaught event and nowhere else...
NB. there used to be a mod that solely did this but it's outdated, there are a couple of mods that do the same thing but as an added feature rather than the purpose of the mod so searching won't find them, i'll add a link here once i've had my morning coffee or maybe someone else will ninja me to it
With this method I'm pretty sure you can only find system freighters (not the star destroyer or sentinel types)
Even if it did work (it doesnt since you have tested it), it would be a lot slower to pulse drive and spawn an other every time. With the rescue mission, all you have to do is going straight to the space station, make restore point, check freighter, reload if not S class. You can ignore the pirates.
1. Played 3 hours, did 4 jumps, sitting at starbase, made a save by exiting/entering my ship;
2. Warping to nearby system A;
3. System A spawns Pirate Battleship event;
4. Reload, warp to system A, event persists every time I reload;
5. Not satisfied with freighter model, trying to warp to system B;
6. System B does NOT spawn the event;
7. Reload, warp to system C: event does spawn;
8. Reload, warp to system D: no event;
Observations so far:
- both Pirate Battleship and Rescue Mission events can spawn both Star Destroyer and Sentinel battleship types;
- size always the same, class varies;
It's been 2 days already and I'm not feeling like I'm playing the game, and start to ask myself why exactly do I need Large S-class.
I think I will just proceed with my life and check now and then if they maybe add an option to upgrade size and class of freighters, just like we can do with our ships. As a (former) Black Desert Online player, I think I became allergic to anything that involves RNG.
