I cannot save in NMS Xbox Game Pass Version. Failed to initialize connected storage.

Go to your settings and go to installed apps, search for Xbox and click on the three dots and click advanced options. Scroll down and find the options under reset and click on both the options. Do the same with Microsoft store. This worked for me :)

Seems like a rather odd problem, a web search only brings up a few hits, but no solution.
for example this one.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what could be wrong, but a guess could be that there is a problem in your windows installation.
Which might be solved if you do a reinstall.

You can reinstall without losing anything, the following link describes how.

You can also try writing directly to HG on their Zendesk page,
https://hellogames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
and there describe your problem in detail.
