Half Stairs

I guess we can't put any half stairs inside a building cause I can't place a full wall on the side of it, nor can't place a half stair on the side of a full wall.
So we can't have indoor stairs against a full wall?
This building mechanic needs more work if this is the case.

There may be indirect routes to do what you want. You could try experimenting with parts that the half stair will snap to and then try to figure out how to get /that/ part where you need it. Or use free placement mode instead of snap mode. In free placement mode, the part is place based on where the center of the part is. So to get a stair part the right height against a wall, you'll need to first get a floor part half way up the wall with a couple of 1/4 height wall parts.

The best way I've found to place half-stairs is to put a small floor panel where I want the top of the stairs, and then snap the stairs to that (you can then delete the small floor and replace it with a full floor panel if you want). Sadly the bottom and side of the stairs don't snap to anything useful that I've found, but if you build a part of the next floor, you can snap the top of the stairs to the ceiling of the first floor.

well I wanted to use the half stairs for inside but when I used the half wall and the corner/ramp style wall the full wall can not snap to the side of the stairs and half wall which leaves an open area.
