After 250 hours and only doing the intro, Initial 1st base turned giant pointless nip bud farm, initial outlaws main quest for the hood. Quicksilver missions. Visits to my settlement. Sending out the frigates, The base computer archives missions and the 16 Glyphs using the first 2 glyphs to portal to the planet with them all lablled by everyone else lol. oo and getting my ships obviously. The rest of that time iv literally been searching, searching, compromising, laying foundations then within the hour deciding, I cant and wont give up to then go carry on looking for the rest of the night till i must force myself to come off and just try again tomorrow lol. I cant commit to any main quests when this time tomorrow i could be 100000+ Light years away and restarting them so its local again... I've considered living on my freighter and i will do a proper base on it 1 day but again not gonna give up looking now and let it beat me lol .
Have seen plenty of others players in the same boat but yet theres never been a single person who can give a solid confirmed they know this for a fact and is up to date or still the same since updates answer! ... i have only found them trees on maybe 5-6 planets.(i have mapped just under 500 systems) and only 1 of them was the sort of blue grass i wanted, just a shame half the ground is normal grass green and doesn't look nice enough loll.. :(
..My Q ... Does anybody know what these glowing tendril alien palm tree plant trees are actually called loll? Didn't Hello Games give them a general name when it come to coding them into the game??? On Each planet they have had a completely different name, guessing due to the slightest difference in colour or something .. Or does anyone know in any way at all and are 1000% sure its true/fact, tried and tested how i can increase my chances of finding a planet with them on? or just any real information on them at all?? Is it possible if i cant find them on 1 side of the planet that maybe they could be on the other side of it or anywhere else?
I can find the blue grass planets pretty easy obviously. I'm just dying for any information on them so i can give myself a better chance of finding them so i can finally settle down and play the game lol
iv searched online nearly daily for answers.. i know everyone goes looking through F&G4-6 water good economy systems for paradise planets, though in my opinion iv had my best luck finding paradise planets in system colours yellow and blue ( Mainly blue for me because im looking for them blue grass planets with them exotic glowing tendril palm tree tress and NOT Earth like planets or even necessarily paradise planets. Id be happy if i found what im looking for on any lush planet as long as the weathers nice.) But nowadays instead of looking through strictly no.s 4,5,6. I also look through systems with the number 0 too as long as it has FP after the no. .. For me, without a doubt the best planets i have found always had FP aswell as the normal G5, B6, and now ive started to strictly look through them.. For example . B0FP, G5FP K7FP...
From what i have gone through.. all the old advice regarding the numbers being temperature and things are al messed up now since the Outlaws update and all the planets got changed around and people were waking up on volcano planets after going sleep on a lush 1 loll.. i dont think Hello Games themselves could even tell us now what the Letters and numbers on each star mean anymore with the sheer amount and all the randomly generating. I always find scorching hot planets net to Glacial 1's in G5 systems. But Im not looking for earth like planets anyways i am looking for nice blue grass with them exotic glowing palms..
any help or advice at all to reduce my search time looking for these trees will be greatly appreciated pleasee .. THANK YOUU
P.S How did you guys upload your photos to discussions with the portal glyphs?? I am clueless with forums and never post anything...And how come the screenshots in my steamapps folder dont have the glyphs bottom left either yet they are 1000% there when ive took the photos using the photomode? ? google said to upload all mine by print screen through paint and getting the link for them through imgur..? i was told make sure the setting to always make my url links available now seems to not exist and so was forced to ask google loll but guessing theres an easier way then. apparently copying the link straight from library doesnt work anymore?
sorry this is lilke extra long winded but please any info at all on them trees .. that you know for sure is fact and relevent since the latest major updates and not just speculation or maybes...
thank youuuu .... have a good day loll
1 - take your screenshot with the Steam screen capture (default F12), not the in game photo mode. The photo mode excludes all HUD elements, including the glyphs.
2 - In your Steam Library, select the game and click the image in the Post-game activity or the Screenshots section, either of which open the Screenshot Manager (or open Screenshot Manager using the View Menu: View>Screenshots).
3 - Find the screenshot you want to share on the left and add a caption and set visibility options on the right, then click upload.
4 - Once uploaded, click the View online button (not the copy link share button - that only gives a non-embeddable link).
5 - From the Community screenshot page that appears, the link can be copied from the Steam browser address bar or you can select Share to get a more visible copyable link.
Link should look like steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=(number)
6 - Paste that link into the forum post.
