One piece of advice. If you are approaching the point where a living ship is crashing and you see a normal ship, move away until you can't see it. (Rise out of the atmosphere, etc.).
If you get close again, it should turn into a living ship.
May you find a cool babe!
This is actiually great doing a mini quesrt instead of the boring long one taking days, at least I'll have the option to get another if I choose too, thanks
Good idea, I mean I saw people flying around in the same sytem, imma try to be offline so to speak next time I do it
Cool as long as I can still obtain it I can take the loss and forgive the bug as I love the game, no need to rush now but when I want to I can.
I've experienced it myself before without multiplayer on, multiple times.
I've even tested it and if you fly fast enough into the atmosphere you can even force it to happen. So apparently it takes a while for that living ship script to get loaded and if you load into the crash site before that time you'll just get a regular ship.
(Edit: Just to note, the fact the living ship stuff is delayed is... strange. I've got the game on an M2 drive and there is nothing slow about this PC, so the fact I can force ANYTHING to load slowly on here is just a true oddity... The scripts themselves must be intentionally delayed. Perhaps to give time for the crash site itself to load properly?)
