Signal Booster

Under the description it states it can read Navigational Data; what exactly does that mean? I have a couple of Nav Data devices on me, but when you use the Signal Booster, there is no option to read the data; only an option to scan for buildings.

So is that statement Fluff... or is there a way to use the two together?

Since Beyond, the Signal Booster no longer accepts Navigation Data, it will only decrypt Drop Pod Coordinate Data to find a Drop Pod Point of Interest (if one is available on this planet or sometimes a nearby planet

OP means Navigation Data which you find on the tables in SpaceStations or Buildings

Actually, since Waypoint, the Signal Booster doesn't even accept Drop Pod Coordinate Data anymore. That's been replaced with the Exosuit Upgrade Charts. Now the Signal Booster simply boosts signals. :)

There's a really cool 'firmware upgrade' mod that makes your signal booster find ANYTHING, in a select-able menu that opens up. (portals, archives, etc)

Nice. Thanks :) With this one and Auto Scanner Plus you can find anything.

Details Details... :). Thanx All... great to Know.

However... the Signal Booster does find near by Bases; though with that Scanner on my Ship (which I actually just found today)... it makes more sense to use that one.
