Since Beyond, the Signal Booster no longer accepts Navigation Data, it will only decrypt Drop Pod Coordinate Data to find a Drop Pod Point of Interest (if one is available on this planet or sometimes a nearby planet
OP means Navigation Data which you find on the tables in SpaceStations or Buildings
Actually, since Waypoint, the Signal Booster doesn't even accept Drop Pod Coordinate Data anymore. That's been replaced with the Exosuit Upgrade Charts. Now the Signal Booster simply boosts signals. :)
Ah yeah .. long time ago that I did use on :)
However... the Signal Booster does find near by Bases; though with that Scanner on my Ship (which I actually just found today)... it makes more sense to use that one.
