I've put about ten tickets in over the years... I guess it wouldn't hurt to do it again
Their patch notes mention "quality of life and accessibility improvements", and then mention "When playing with a controller tracked in each hand, the Personal Forcefield will move attached to your non-dominant hand, allowing you to reflexively and intuitively deflect enemy fire."
I figured they must have added left-handed support, only to find this is still being brought up?
I guess they just presume your dominant hand to be the right one. As opposed to the wrong one.
In all seriousness, I think that part of the patch log is only relevant for non-VR, as that has actual handedness options now.
VIRTUAL REALITY OVERHAUL
The experience of playing in VR has been improved across the board.
When playing with a controller tracked in each hand, the Personal Forcefield will move attached to your non-dominant hand, allowing you to reflexively and intuitively deflect enemy fire.
It then shows a gif with a player holding a shield in their left hand.
Was dealing with crash issues and everything too. "The crashing I can handle..."
You'll be waiting for that answer for a while. I've wrote them multiple times over the years. They're aware of the problem, nothing is being done
First up, you don't do these requests on that link, you do it via Zendesk:

But yes. I cannot find any left-handedness option for VR either, only in flatscreen mode. While I am right-handed, I know there are lefties as VR players out there and it's a shame that this wasn't added. Inverting the controls and remapping buttons is something they already know how to do, so it eludes me why this wasn't added.
